About me

Aris Concepción is a Dominican filmmaker, producer, editor, and writer based in New York City. Her work explores memory, identity, and cultural heritage through food, documenting the people and places that shape culinary traditions. Through her ongoing documentary and editorial project, Tasting Memories, she follows the journey of ingredients from soil to table, to uncover the stories of the farmers, chefs, artisans, and communities who preserve them.

Her experience spans premium entertainment, commercial production, and editorial media, with a focus on creating work that is visually rich, emotionally resonant, and deeply human.
